Hi-Way Pizza Shoppe
About This Spot
Stepping into Hi-Way Pizza Shoppe is like circling back to a familiar, well-loved corner of Philipsburg—a place where time slows just enough to savor the simple pleasures of good company and satisfying food. The atmosphere hums with a quiet rhythm, marked by casual conversations and the steady flow of neighbors dropping in for a quick slice or a laid-back meal. It's a spot that wears its history lightly, inviting you to settle in without pretense.
This isn’t your typical pizza joint racing to pack the day’s orders; it’s unhurried and straightforward, where the warmth comes as much from the people behind the counter as from the ovens working their magic. Ordering here feels like a ritual, with friendly exchange at the counter that often includes a joke or two, the kind that nudges you into a sense of belonging. The cash-only policy adds a touch of nostalgic charm, reminding you this is a place anchored in tradition.
The menu has grown alongside the community—offering more than just slices of the familiar pie that draws longtime regulars back again and again. The variety hints at a thoughtful balance between comfort and curious exploration, inviting guests to try new tastes that feel just right in this neighborhood atmosphere. Portions are generous and mindful, perfectly matching the casual, take-out style service that keeps the day moving but never rushes the experience.

Always been a favorite since I was a kid. Can't pass up stopping for some slices if I'm in town. They've added such a variety of yummy options over the years.

Just tried the new spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious (so was the price)! Nice size portion.

I hadn’t been here in years, and the pizza is exactly how I remember it. Really good pizza at a good price. Simple and done right. Just a heads up, it’s cash only. They’ve also added more items to the menu since my last visit, and I didn’t have time to try them this time, but I definitely will be back.

Ordered pizza by the slice. Go to counter to place order when walk in and give a number of slices you want. Take out Only.

It is The Fastest Pizza Ever, quicker than any buffet! We asked for 12 pieces for our family & the lady slid 2 boxes over, in a snap! They were warm, delicious & very affordable... I hadn't had Highway Pizza since I was a teenager, just as I remember, it was Awesomeness, in every bite...
